The Cactus Channel are a 10 piece instrumental funk band from Australia, with 2 vinyl singles released before they turned 18. Their first 45 sold out in a matter of weeks from a run of 500. We've released slightly more this time, but they won't last long. The band has supported Charles Bradley and counts The Dap Kings’ Tom Brenneck and soul legend Charles Walker as fans.
The Emanuel Ciccolini single is the first component of a structured marketing campaign building towards The Cactus Channel’s Debut LP release in mid 2012. HopeStreet Recordings is supporting the release with a series of placements in Wax Poetics magazine and Facebook with a traditional campaign starting closer to the album date.
